Three places a Lovable app breaks before launch
These are documented failure points, not edge cases. Each one has a known fix, and none of them needs a rewrite.

Data open to anyone with the key
A Lovable app sends its public database key to the browser. That is safe only when row-level security is right on every table. Generated policies can be missing or too loose.
What we do: We review every table and policy, test them as an attacker would, and close the gaps.

The fix loop that eats credits
The same error returns after each automated fix, and each new prompt costs credits. Lovable’s own guidance is to stop retrying, roll back and plan the change before building again.

Moving to your own domain or host exposes what preview hid: environment variables fixed at build time, sign-in redirects pointing to the old address, and newer apps that need a server.

Questions on Lovable production work

Can a Lovable app really run in production?
Yes, for web applications. Lovable generates standard React and TypeScript code and a Postgres backend. What decides production readiness is the work around it: access rules, tests, error handling and deployment. That is the part we do.
Is my Lovable app secure?
It depends on the access rules. Lovable’s scans flag common issues, and Lovable states they do not replace a thorough security review. We review row-level security on every table, check for exposed secrets, and test the app the way an attacker would.
Do you rewrite the app or fix what exists?
We fix what exists wherever the code allows it. A rewrite is the last option, and we would explain why before proposing one. The audit tells you in writing which parts stay, which change, and what each change is for.
Can we keep using Lovable after you work on it?
Yes. Lovable syncs with GitHub in both directions on one active branch, so engineers and prompt-based edits can share a project. We set up a branch and review routine so neither side overwrites the other.
Who owns the code when the work is done?
You do. The code, the IP and the docs are yours, and everything lives in your repository and accounts from day one. Lovable also states that creators own the code it generates. We sign an NDA on request.
How much does it cost to hire Lovable developers?
