What is a v0 agency?
A v0 agency is an engineering team that takes apps generated with v0, Vercel’s AI app builder, and makes them ready for real users. It reviews the generated Next.js code, adds authentication, data, security and tests, and sets up a deployment the client owns and can maintain.

Secrets in the browser
Generated code can place API keys and database credentials in public variables, where any visitor can read them. Vercel has reported blocking deployments for exactly this.

Questions about v0 in production

What does a v0 agency do?
A v0 agency takes an app generated with v0 and makes it ready for real users. That means reviewing the code, adding authentication, a database, payments and tests, fixing security gaps, and setting up deployment and monitoring in your accounts.
Can a v0 app go to production?
Yes. v0 writes standard Next.js code and deploys to Vercel. What is usually missing is server-side security, real authentication, data migrations, tests and monitoring. Once those are in place, a v0 app runs like any other Next.js application.
Do you rewrite the app from scratch?
Not by default. We keep the generated code that works and replace only what blocks launch. If a rewrite of one part is the cheaper route, we explain why on the call and agree it with you before starting.
Who owns the code after you work on it?
You do. The code, the IP and the docs are yours. Everything lives in your GitHub repository and your Vercel and database accounts. Vercel states it does not own code generated by v0. We sign an NDA on request.
Can we keep using v0 after you finish?
Yes. v0 connects to GitHub and works on branches, so your team can keep prompting while changes go through pull requests and CI. We set up the checks that catch a breaking change before it reaches production.
